Tie scraps

This is what's left over after making about 100 Zip ties... Since the material is expensive, I've been working on using it as efficiently as possible. There are larger scraps that are not shown here, but I'm donating them to the Depot for Creative Reuse (they refer to me as the 'felt guy').

This picture also reminds me that all I've been doing lately is production and sales. No design. That's got to change or I'm going to go nuts.

    1. Yeah I agree... if we make thousands of ties I'll have to think about that.

  2. Nice work! Just ordered one with my rent money. Now I just might wear a tie (yours) to those important meetings... Am a young architect starving making buildings. You're onto something with this and I expect your path will be a little softer (feltier even) than the rocky road up in architecture. Best luck,

    1. Thanks for ordering the tie John! I used to work as an architect too... my path now isn't easy by any means, but it's not as hard as architecture. Nothing is as hard as architecture :)
